A nod to the new Star Trek movie opening this weekend. I'm sure it will be very good, but there will never be a Star Trek like the original Star Trek....
Ahh yes, I agree. I once had the pleasure of visiting the actual set (they were shooting Who Stole Spock's Brain) back in the late 60's... wow, haven't thought about that for about 40 years...
Anyway, I will be seeing this at 5:00 tonight. Very interested in the fact that Sylar is Spock and that they seem to be paying great homage to the original by having new casting for all the originals-- Ohura, Bones, etc.
I am laughing because I sound like a trekkie, and I'm not. Just have a fondness for the old show.
If you haven't seen it yet - GO! It is 2 hours of pure fun and enjoyment. The actors are wonderful, the plot (for the most part) makes sense - and it leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling. Perfect. Summer. Movie.
